We are thrilled to announce that Varlo has partnered with professional triathlete Alice Alberts.
Alice's journey in triathlon is nothing short of inspiring. She began her triathlon career in 2021, achieving remarkable success by winning two overall age group IRONMAN races and securing a 3rd place finish among female amateurs at the IRONMAN World Championship in St. George, Utah—all while working full-time as a primary care Nurse Practitioner.
In July 2022, Alice made the bold decision to turn professional, dedicating herself entirely to the sport. Her commitment paid off in 2023, when she clinched victories at both IRONMAN Lake Placid and IRONMAN Maryland, marking her first professional wins.
Continuing her upward trajectory, Alice competed in the 2024 IRONMAN Pro Series, finishing the season ranked 9th globally. She also participated in prestigious events such as the IRONMAN World Championship in Nice, France, and the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Taupo, New Zealand.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Alice is passionate about coaching and has been guiding athletes through NVDM Coaching for nearly three years. She resides in the Boston area with her husband and is known for her dedication to the sport and her vibrant presence in the triathlon community.
Alice's rapid rise in the triathlon world, from a novice to a professional IRONMAN champion within a few years, showcases her exceptional talent and determination. Her story has been featured in various publications, highlighting her transition from a healthcare professional to a full-time athlete.
We are excited to support Alice's future endeavors and look forward to witnessing her continued success both on and off the racecourse.
